If you spend a lot of time together in the same environment and you rarely go on trips, be prepared that soon you and your partner are going to blame each other for your relationship being boring. Unfortunately, if you don’t do anything about that, your relationship is most likely to fail. If you don’t want an outcome like that, you should think about arranging a romantic trip somewhere. In order to help you, I’ve collected the list of the most romantic places to visit.
Venice
When you think about romance, you can’t help thinking about Italy. Venice is one of the most romantic places in Italy. The winding canals, gondolas, and streets where you can easily lose yourselves, make Venice a perfect place to spend a romantic weekend together. If you are planning to marry your partner, you should remember that Venice is one of the most romantic places to propose. Just imagine you and your partner are slowly drifting through the canals of the city, and you ask her if she would marry you? That will be an unforgettable experience.
Paris
Talking about the most romantic places, we cannot avoid mentioning Paris. The capital of France is known for its romantic atmosphere, although a lot of its citizens would say that only foreigners can feel the love in the air, but who cares? Paris offers a lot of dreamy activities for couples who like some together-time in another city. You can float down the Seine River, sit in the outdoor cafes, walk hand in hand down the Champs-Elysees. And of course, you can visit Louvre to enjoy the famous works of art from around the world. If you enjoy quirky shopping, Paris is a place to go, as the city is full of weird shops where you can find almost anything.
Udaipur
Who said that India can’t be romantic? With its pink-hued palaces overlooking a series of placid lakes, Udaipur is probably India’s most immediately romantic city. The lakefront has been overtaken by hotels making it a perfect places for those who like travelling with comfort, but if you want to find the true heart of the city head to the labyrinthine backstreets to experience the Udaipur of old with all of its shrines and historical bazaars.
Okinawa Islands
Japan is unlikely to be on your list of top romantic places in the world, but that’s because you’ve never heard of Okinawa Islands and the Okuma beach. The beach is perfect for getting sun-kissed with your partner while sipping cocktails.
Kauai
Kauai is one of the most romantic places in the US. The oldest island in the Hawaiian chain is perfect for couples who prefer simple no-muss, no-fuss travelling, as Kauai is there to impress you with its nature, rather than with the over-the-top luxury hotels. Want to get lost for the romantic weekend? Head to Kauai, as the island has only two major highways, thus some of its regions can be explored exclusively by foot. So, if you need to revitalize your relationship and get back the time when you were the only things that mattered to each other, Kauai is the place to go.
