Nestled in Kowloon’s ‘Golden Circle’ and minutes away from the Olympic MTR Station, The Olympian Hong Kong is new in Hong Kong’s hospitality scene but has quickly gone up the ranks in the span of less than a year by offering more sophisticated accommodations by combining refined tranquility and urban vitality.
Arriving at the Olympian Hong Kong
The Olympian experience immediately begun as we opened the front doors to a colossal foyer with a towering chandelier and ravishing floral arrangements.
The doorman politely escorted us to the next floor for check-in and were quickly whisked away to our room sharing the same floor with the 24/7 reception, fitness center, laundry room and executive lounge. That fact alone makes everything convenient and accessible.
Our room
As soon as we stepped in to our room, my eyes literally popped and my jaw dropped!
The size of our Grand Harbor View Room is truly grand and it is with great pleasure to write about our great stay at The Olympian Hong Kong.
First off, let’s begin in the kitchenette. It includes a full size fridge, microwave, nespresso machine and variety of premium treats.
The bathroom area didn’t fell short of space either. There was an exceptionally large mirror with attached recessed his and her sinks alongside with all the necessary amenities we needed – a large bath, vanity mirror, hair dryer, weighing scale and Acca Kappa bath amenities. And oh, a separate shower cubicle with rain shower was divine!
There is also a generous living space with a 55-inch LED TV with interactive IPTV, dining table and large sofa which crafts a warm and private residential ambiance. I was also deeply impressed by the elegant contemporary furnishings placed around the room and the impeccably swathed hardwood flooring.
Our welcome amenities included a bowl of fresh fruits, local delightful snacks and a handy. The “handy” is a smartphone for travelers that comes pre-loaded with bespoke software specifically designed for tourists visiting Hong Kong.
Suspense was seriously built up as we moved through our room. I can safely say, the hotel was saving the best for last.
“Truly a luxury reserved for the privileged few.” shares The Olympian Hong Kong and they have lived up to it without question.
Our Egyptian cotton linen king-sized bed was heavenly soft paired with hypoallergenic Sealy Executive pillows and silky smooth duvets. There is another 55-inch LED TV, a spacious wardrobe and dresser which doubles as a desk.
But, what really blew me away is the floor-to-ceiling window which offers mesmerizing sea view over Victoria Harbor and skyline of Hong Kong.
I could look at this view all day and night.
We are truly speechless. And, just when I thought it couldn’t get better at The Olympian Hong Kong, the phone rang. A sweet voice gently asked us if our room suits to our liking. A prompt, big yes is absolutely the perfect answer.
Now, I am just counting the days until I return to The Olympian Hong Kong.
