When it comes to travelling, Southeast Asia has long been a favourite amongst individuals from all over the world. When you start to look through what it has to offer, it becomes pretty simple to see why. Many areas are budget-friendly, which takes a lot of pressure off you when you’re planning and saving for your trip.
There is no direct flight to El Nido. This means that you will have to (a) fly to Puerto Princesa, the capital city of Palawan and travel 6-7 hours of long and winding road or (b) fly to Coron and take a boat trip for 7-8 hours to reach El Nido. Yes, it sounds stressful.

The other day, I spent my afternoon at Ku De Ta Club Lounge. I saw the famous infinity pool and my God, it is gorgeous! So, when I heard that my College Professor and his family has a room in MBS, I sucked in some guts to invite myself in for few hours of pool loving. It was also a good way to unwind after a few days of sightseeing in Singapore.
After walking around the Marina Bay, I went up to one of the coolest rooftop bars in Southeast Asia – Ku De Ta. It is on the astounding 57th floor roof of Marina Bay Sands Hotel is undoubtedly the cocktail bar in Singapore, presenting the most jaw-dropping sky-high views of the city.
Central Singapore is packed with gorgeous city views. Wherever you turn you’ll be treated to magnificent architecture, skylines and interesting people from around the world. Walking anywhere around the city is a visual treat.
The mister and I spent the New Year’s in Siargao as the last stop of our backpacking adventures in Northern Mindanao. And, I would love to go back and finally make a proper surfing without hitting my face on the bottom of the sea lol.
