Having been blessed with one of the most captivating, jaw-dropping sceneries in the country, Palawan offers no less than an incomparable experience and picture perfect images of lush greenery, pristine white sand beaches, virgin forests, and a number of Unesco-declared heritage sites that will surely capture the hearts of anyone who is able to pay a visit in this famed province.
El Nido, Philippines is one of the most breathtaking places I have ever been to, which is why one visit is clearly not enough. It is almost impossible to leave El Nido without feeling a sense of awe. So when planning your holiday to Philippines’ last frontier, it is only natural that you would want somewhere equally memorable to rest your head on at night. There are literally hundreds of accommodation options to be found in El Nido, so the choice can be truly overwhelming. Luckily, I’ve done the research for you, and when it comes to finding the best hotel in El Nido, there is no better choice than Sea Cocoon Hotel.
There is no direct flight to El Nido. This means that you will have to (a) fly to Puerto Princesa, the capital city of Palawan and travel 6-7 hours of long and winding road or (b) fly to Coron and take a boat trip for 7-8 hours to reach El Nido. Yes, it sounds stressful.
It would take several lifetimes to explore the 7,000+ islands that make up the Philippine Archipelago. But, probably the best place I’ve been in the Philippines is El Nido, Palawan. The 5-6 hour van ride from Puerto Princesa is definitely way worth it!
