The bus operator promised a 6-hour land travel from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. Indeed, our bus arrived after 6 hours somewhere in the bustling Phnom Penh surrounded by intriguing markets, charming cafes, and busy street food scenes. I hailed a mototaxi to get to my palatial hotel in one of the prime locations in Phnom Penh. Half an hour and a couple of wrong turns later, I arrived at The Pavilion Hotel.

New hotels are sprouting up like mushrooms in what once a wilderness that is Boracay. Admittedly, it used to be an expensive destination but with the rise of affordable accommodations, Boracay has become one of the country’s most visited destinations. Now, the new dilemma of incoming visitors is to find an island oasis within close proximity to the dreamy White Beach, great parties, perfect sunsets and adrenaline pumping water sports – things that Boracay is famous for. Luckily, we stumbled upon Lime Hotel Boracay, a hip and vibrant hotel that sits strategically at the lively Station 2 – where all the fun and action lives.

Stylish and trendy sojourn at OZO Wesley Hong Kong

Everyone thinks of Hong Kong as a city when in fact, it is a sprawling archipelago of 260 islands. By everyone, I mean including me. All along, I thought Hong Kong is one whole city slash country; apparently not. It consists of a few main areas – Hong Kong Island, the Kowloon Peninsula, the New Territories and over 200 offshore islands. For the purpose of being a tourist who wants to spend time exploring the main tourist attractions of Hong Kong, we considered staying in Hong Kong Island. Although hotel choices are limited to the upper range, finding OZO Wesley Hong Kong is definitely heaven sent.
